Importing goods from Non-EU Countries

The following information was taken from the UK. National DAILY MAIL newspaper from information supplied by H.M. CUSTOMS & EXCISE and shows that  goods imported to the EU, (European Union) which might be of a lower purchase price, can cost more when delivered!... Similar taxes will apply to ALL EU countries, but VAT may be higher! .These taxes and duties  will ADD between 30%  to  50% to the actual buying price ...........  Remember ..you DO NOT  have a "Duty Free Allowance" when ordering an item Mail Order from outside the EU. You will pay all taxes from zero value of the goods. Overseas companies might not tell you this , but you will get the bill from your carrier when your goods arrive! Read On.
