ROYAL NAVY EJECTOR SEAT

These vintage 1966 items are Unissued Royal Navy MK.8C Ejector Seat Emergency Oxygen Bottles Type 6D/2283 and were fitted to the Martin Baker Ejector Seat and activated on ejection supplying the pilot oxygen during ejecting and descending. These units originated from RNAW ( Royal Navy Aircraft Works ) Perth, Scotland and are supplied in the original box and packaging, we remove these units from the packaging to de-gassed and cleaned otherwise they are the same as when packed 40 years ago. The length of the unit is 1ft ( 300mm ) and weighs 2.5k approx. These units are dated from the mid-60`s and would have been used on the Sea Vixen or Buccaneer aircraft these being flown from the 1960`s Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers.
